New Series Gold Dalek
On Saturday 22nd March 2008 Derek was invited to patrol the galleries at the Derby Museum and Art Gallery as part of their Journey into Space event. Pickford House Museum also joined in for a day of space themed activities inspired by Joseph Wrights of Derby's famous painting The Orrery.

Right: It was a tight fit but Derek just managed to get inside the "elevator". This gave him access to the first and second floor galleries where he dashed out to scare the visitors.
