I was lucky enough to win a Whoovers competition for which the prize was tickets to the Memorabilia Show at the NEC in April 2005. |

| At the entrance to Hall 3 I was greeted by some Storm Troopers from Star Wars and two Daleks. The one pictured was menacing the customers of the coffee shop. I loved the way the motorised Daleks glided silently and smoothly over the perfectly level surface. (I really will have to modify mine in the same way and also fit a ring modular...) | ||

Arriving early I was able to chat with the two Doctors who were waiting to sign autographs. Chatting freely with these Timelords seemed rather surreal! Of the new series Tom said "What sort of Doctor starts on the Friday, has his first episode Saturday and then quits on Monday !" Didn't see the Sontaran sign any autographs. For the picture below Frazer and Nicola insisted I make a donation in their charity box! |
