Derek was there at the invite of Bryan Sharpe, Producer BBC East Midlands Children in Need. Local lad James Dean is a Doctor Who fan and has written a play entitled "Doctor Who and the Terror of the Ice Warriors". A short VT extract of the play was broadcast but this was rudely interrupted by Derek's entrance. James appeared with the young actors (right) who had performed his play. |
