Pickford's House Museum - 15th April 2006 Derek's latest visit to the Museum found him in the third floor gallery surrounded by shoes! The visit coincided with the launch of the second new series of Doctor Who. Andy Thompson (Museum Curator and event organiser) wrote "The day
was a great success!!! In the end we had the great total of 809 visitors
through the door - twice as many as we'd hoped for. I know it created
some problems downstairs as we had to stop people entering the building
at a couple of points in order to stay within our limits for safety regulations".

Other events at the museum included making a Cyberman Mask or Dalek or K9. There was also a Remote Control Model TARDIS on display, built by Steve J Warby |
