New Series Gold Dalek
Barton Marina Christmas Lights Switch On

From the Marina web site:-
"Our thanks first of all to Sheridan Smith who spent over 3 hours talking and signing autographs for everyone.
The charity draw was held in the Toy shop and the Dalek was a huge hit with hundreds of children who were at the event"....

Derek was invited by Toys of Yesteryear to join in the festive activities at their new Toy Shop and Museum at Barton Turns Marina.

After switching on the Christmas Lights,
Sheridan visited the Shop in the
Toy Museum and met Derek

Sheridan was delighted that Derek identified her as "Lucie Miller", the Doctor's assistant she played in Blood of The Daleks.

Sheridan Smith is the actress best known for playing Emma in the sitcom The Royle Family, Janet in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and Michelle in the BBC3 TV the comedy Grownups.

Doctor Who fans will also remember that she also played Lucie Miller, a companion of the eight Doctor in a series of audio plays produced by Big Finish Productions for BBC7.

She loved meeting Derek so much she proposed to him ! (Now how would that work???)

"Only if you prommise to OBEY !"

Sheridan was a really good sport and is a lovely lady. She seemed to be having a lot of fun at the Marina and everyone enjoyed meeting her - especially Derek!
